If you nourished your sexual life with all the excitements and adventures which love injects into sensuality, you would be the most potent man in the world. The source of sexual power is curiosity, passion. You are watching this little flame die of asphyxiation. Sex does not thrive on monotony. Without feelings, invention, moods, no surprises in bed. Sex must be mixed with tears, laughter, words, promises, scenes, jealousy, envy, all the spices of fear, foreign travel, new faces, novels, stories, dreams, fantasies, music, dancing, opium, wine.

  3. "One thing I do know about intimacy is that there are certain natural laws which govern the sexual experience of two people, and that these laws cannot be budged any more than gravity can be negotiated with. To feel physically comfortable with someone else’s body is not a decision you can make. It has very little to do with how two people think or act or talk or even look. The mysterious magnet is either there, buried somewhere deep behind the sternum, or it is not. When it isn’t there (as I have learned in the past, with heartbreaking clarity) you can no more force it to exist than a surgeon can force a patient’s body to accept a kidney from the wrong donor. My friend Annie says it all comes down to one simple question: “Do you want your belly pressed against this person’s belly forever —or not?"

  4. This pic sums up my 2014 thus far.

I’m sitting in an exam room, again…
Over the past few months I’ve seen a number of doctors to try and figure out what is going on with me. It’s nothing serious, more of an annoyance, but it has left me mentally, emotionally, and physically drained.

I made some promises to a few people that when I got back to the states I would see the doc and figure out what’s going on with me; take care of myself. So here I am. Waiting for the doctor to come back and tell me my results.
Getting closer to an answer but more tests to come.

Like my teacher always said, ‘Tests suck’. Yes they do.
